National Geographic - Car SOS


Bombs away! We were chuffed when this combustible project landed in the Pig Pen; fixer-uppers are something of a speciality of the team.

These idents exist within the new title sequence for Car SOS, and appear as promotional material on the channel. Lovely clients and a brilliant creative allowed our team to get technical with Cinema 4D, surprising themselves and each other with the results. From start to finish, the crew on this had a blast answering the question, how many ways are there to bust up a banger – and then patch it up again, to the quality of those skilled lads in the garage?

Our Head of 3D Sean Cooper said, “This was a really fun job to undertake. Destruction of cars! Stripping of rust! Using 3D animation to restore a classic back to its former glory! We threw the artistic and technical kitchen sink at these new show idents.”
