AA - Street Fighter

We were fighting fit for this mega job with AA and agency Walk in the Gate. It’s always a pleasure to see our work on the big screen, in this case meaning DOOH advertising locations across the country including London, Manchester, Nottingham and Liverpool, and this cool retro-themed campaign is sure to bring a smile to spectators’ faces.

We were supplied assets from the iconic 1987 arcade game Street Fighter, and we used After Effects to stitch these together and assemble the film. The unsuspecting owner of the unfortunate vehicle in the spot was original artwork drawn by our animator in TV Paint, finished in Photoshop and comped using After Effects. Artist William Smith said: “This project was great to work on! It was interesting to recreate old animations for video games, and the idea itself is fun - I love seeing advertisement getting a bit weird and playful nowadays. Director Stephen Webley was super keen and straight-forward on what he wanted, and that made my life very easy. I can't wait to see it on a big screen.”
