Disney x Givenchy

Inspired by traditional Zoetrope animation which comprises a spinning wheel of stills to give the illusion of motion, our team crafted four iconic Disney tales for the launch of Disney x Givenchy's joint campaign. We were tasked with recreating scenes from Disney's varied film archive, including Frozen, Bambi, 101 Dalmations, and even Mickey Mouse's little-know about predecessor, Oswald. 

In order to seamlessly merge Disney's emblematic, hand-drawn animation style with their stylised aesthetic from recent years, we utilised a mix of 2D and 3D software, before lighting each scene consistently, to create four charmingly reminiscent films for the collaboration's launch across social media.
